In Guild of Guardians, your Guardians' strength and performance heavily rely on the gear they equip. Equipping and upgrading gear allows Guardians to increase their overall power level and enhance specific stats. This guide will walk you through the essential mechanics of crafting, fusing, and salvaging to help you empower your Guardians and conquer the world of Elderym.
Crafting is a fundamental mechanic in Guild of Guardians that allows you to create powerful gear for your Guardians. You can unlock higher tiers of materials and more crafting slots by progressing through Adventure Mode.
Factories produce different types of Materials, which are then used to Forge Gear for different Guardian Classes.
You must spend Crafting Energy to create Materials using each Factory. Crafting Energy regenerates over time, or it can be acquired through the Shop, Eri's Store, or other gameplay rewards. Your Commander level is crucial as it increases the level cap of your heroes, so it's beneficial to use as much crafting energy as you can each day.
These are the two primary methods for creating and improving gear.
Different types of Gear can be Forged from Gear Materials. The process creates gear with random stats, benefits, and quality. You can unlock higher tiers of Gear to Forge by progressing through Adventure Mode.
You can fuse multiple pieces of gear together to create a single new piece of a higher quality, which will have better stats and benefits. This is a key method for upgrading your items.
The Blacksmith allows you to Refine the attributes of a piece of gear. This process lets you replace existing stats or benefits with better ones, fine-tuning your equipment for optimal performance.
As you accumulate gear, you will have several options to manage and improve it:
Gear in Guild of Guardians is categorized by tiers and types:
Gear quality is defined by its rarity. There are five main levels:
Shared Gear Mechanism: When using the shared gear feature, the item provides half of its Domain Bonus value, but the requirement to match the Guardian's domain is removed. This offers more flexibility at the cost of a smaller stat boost.
All gear comes with primary and secondary stats that enhance a Guardian's abilities.
Secondary stats are determined by the gear type, its main attribute (STR/AGI or INT), and the slot they appear in. Each piece of gear can roll up to three secondary stats.

Exclusive guardian gear is a special type of equipment designed for epic and legendary guardians. Each piece of gear improves one of a guardian's main stats. It also provides a unique effect that enhances one of the guardian's skills. This enhancement can improve the skill or change its mechanics in a helpful way.
When you first get a piece of guardian gear, it comes with a random skill enchantment. If you want a different skill effect, you can change it using either epic or legendary refine stones.
To upgrade the gear, you will need gold, star stones, and cosmic stones. The gear has a maximum upgrade level of 121. You can find all the exclusive guardian gear and the necessary upgrade materials in the Endless Store. All these items are purchased with Endless Coins.
